Hot Plate Termination

Outline of Hot Plate Termination procedure utilizing THA-300Set Perform the steps of the procedure in the following order: Separate approximately 30mm of duplex cable into its component strands. Using the stripper THS-300, remove abut 10mm of jacket. For a duplex cable, adjust the length of both strands. Insert the cable into the plug and stabilize the cable with the stopper. The fiber should protrude from the plug. Trim the protruding section of the fiber with the Extra length cutter THC-300. Turn on the terminator power and warm up the heater. Hold down the terminator button and push the plug-end in position, release the terminator button and wait approximately five seconds. This completes the procedure. Although it may initially appear to be complicated, it is actually very simple. It should only take approximately one minute to finish each end of the plug.
